LOS ANGELES, CA, March 10, 2015 – LiveDeposition, a leading provider of local and cloud-based remote realtime streaming and video conferencing solutions for the legal industry, recently added a new feature to their RemoteRealtime™ product, which includes an integration with the Adobe® Flash® Media Live Encoder.
The Flash® Media Live Encoder (FMLE) is an Adobe® live audio and video capture software that allows users to encode and stream audio and video in real time. Integrated with LiveDeposition’s RemoteRealtime™ deposition streaming product, Court Reporters, Videographers, and Account Stream Managers will now have more control over the video settings and be able to have the ability to use better equipment for live video capture, as well as be able to transmit a higher quality of video to remote attendees.
Although Court Reporters and Account Stream Managers will be able to use this new integration, it will benefit Videographers using RemoteRealtime™ the most. To transmit video in the past using a high quality external digital video camera, Videographers were required to use an adapter called a dongle that changed the digital input of their camera to an analog input, reducing the video quality; this is no longer necessary. In addition to Videographers benefitting, Mac users will no longer be impacted due to the lack of compatible video adapters available for their system. By using a Thunderbolt or HDMI connector, they will now be able to send high quality video without worry. To use the new FMLE integration, end-users must have the FMLE software installed on their computer, which can be downloaded from the LiveDeposition Wiki.
When asked for a comment on this new integration, Bob Scott, Tech Support Director for LiveDeposition stated, “I am excited to see what our clients will be able to do with this integration. They are no longer restricted to using the flash player for video and audio input. I have already seen clients streaming video with crystal clear quality and resolutions that have surpassed my initial expectations.”
