Used during depositions, trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, LocalRealtime™ provides court reporters with a mode to wirelessly deliver realtime transcript to onsite participants without requiring an internet connection or cables. Attorneys, judges, and expert witnesses can follow along with live litigation events using any computer or mobile device.
The LocalRealtime™ solution relies on two major components to function; StenoDirectPlus, which acts as a bridge between a court reporter’s CAT software and the LiveDeposition products, and a specially configured wireless router used to officially transmit realtime data. The current update covers the two previously mentioned components, in addition to some minor updates to the LiveDeposition Mobile App.

StenoDirectPlus Plugin – Version 6.4.12 and LocalRealtime™ Router Firmware – Version 5.2.2 include:
- The Live Line/Buffer Line, which was once shown below the transcript has now been seamlessly integrated into the transcript, providing an overall appearance that is sharper and more readable.
- The ability for StenoDirectPlus to automatically check for and update the LocalRealtime™ Router Firmware has been added.
- Major improvements to the Bridge Refresh capabilities. More refresh macros are now being supported and other formatting issues such as accents have been addressed.
LiveDeposition Mobile App – Version 6.5.23 includes:
- Refreshed and revamped realtime transcript component.
- Faster navigation through the transcript by dragging the vertical scrollbar.
- Added option to toggle realtime transcript feed in full screen.
- New option to turn off time/page indexing and view just the transcript.
- Highlights from saved depositions can now be added/removed/saved.
- Realtime Highlight Report has been enhanced to produce smarter results when generating data with consecutive lines.
