1998

What advice would you give students or those just entering the field of Court Reporting?
Never give up. You can accomplish whatever you put your mind to. Your hard work will pay off.

What is your favorite thing about being a reporter?
Flexible hours, Income possibilities, meeting different people every day and being introduced to other reporters in my field who’ve become the best of friends. I love getting up every day and going to work! I LOVE my job.

As a Court Reporter, what is your worst nightmare or biggest pet peeve?
Worst nightmare would be forgetting my machine for a job. My biggest pet peeve is being late. Always leave in plenty of time to get to your job in case of unforeseen circumstances…

Where is the strangest place you have taken a deposition?
Nothing too strange other than jail and a pizza restaurant during the daytime with customers screaming and eating and staring at us!

When not court reporting, how do you spend your free time?
Spending time with my 11-year old daughter, health and fitness, going to gym, dancing.

What do you like most about LiveDeposition?
It’s fast and easy to set up. If there is ever a problem, tech support is super helpful and always gets back ASAP.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Confidence is KEY! You can do anything you put your mind to.
