What is your agency motto?
“Give the clients more than they expect.”

What sets your agency apart?
We are 100% locally owned and operated and the only court reporters with a physical office presence in Yuma. Our office manager is a native Yuman and brings a wealth of local knowledge to the firm. If you need to know where to stay or where to eat, she can point you in the right direction.

Our court reporters have moved from other places from around the state and country but now call Yuma home and have quite an extensive range of reporting experience.

We are close to the Arizona State Prison Complex-Yuma in San Luis, AZ, and our court reporters are pre-cleared to attend depositions at the prison.

What advice would you give students or those just entering the field of court reporting on how to align themselves with an agency?
Attend your local court reporting association conventions and get to know the firm owners and court reporters in your area. Networking and making connections with people is the best way to find out who you would like to work for.

Since your agency first opened, what do you feel has changed the most in the industry?
It’s hard to say what has changed the most. Change seems to happen constantly.

As far as the Yuma market in the last four years, what has changed the most are the services that we can now provide to our clients. The predecessor firm had not kept up with technology and so major changes, upgrades, and software acquisition had to occur when Yuma Court Reporters took over. So I’m happy to say that Yuma now has a state-of-the-art court reporting firm and LiveDeposition is a great addition to our service offerings.

What do you like most about LiveDeposition.com?
Participants do not need to download anything.

Anything else you would like to share?
Most people don’t realize that Yuma borders California and is practically in the middle when traveling between Phoenix, AZ, and San Diego, CA. For our clients who are unable to travel to Yuma, LiveDeposition gives them another option to choose from when scheduling depositions with Yuma Court Reporters.
