Adjustable Standing Desk – We have seen more and more court reporters comment on social media about using a standing desk when they are at home editing their transcripts. It makes sense. They are sitting all day, often in uncomfortable chairs, so the last thing they want to do is go home and sit some more.
Mobile Hotspot – Often times when taking a deposition or in a courtroom, the internet connection is extremely unreliable. There are many times when court reporters need the internet to upload their transcript to their scopist for on the spot editing. Sitting all day can cause major back pain and lugging around a chair of their own is not an option. The next best thing is to get them something lightweight that will support their back, as well as be portable enough that they can carry around with them. A lumbar support cushion or brace will work wonders. 
Gift Certificate for a Massage – Not only is court reporting stressful on a reporter’s body, it is also stressful on their mind. A gift certificate for a massage is the perfect gift to give any reporter. A day of pampering and relaxation rejuvenates the body and mind, giving them a break from the daily grind.
