Dan Richmond is LiveLitigation’s CEO. Shortly after graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math/Computer Science Dan co-founded Computer Age Dentist, Inc., where he served as CEO for fourteen years. In July of 2003, Dan co-founded MegaMeeting.com, LiveLitigation’s parent company, where he currently acts as CEO. Dan has an extensive knowledge in all areas of running a successful software company from start-up to acquisition and feels one of his strongest traits is his ability to visualize, put down to paper and implement how a company should look and operate.

In a perfect world, technology would give people more free time, however unfortunately, in the times that we are currently living in, we seem to be more of a slave to our technology than we are enjoying the extra freedom that it should be providing us – something for us all to work on!”

Fun Facts:

Oddest Job: When I was about ten years old, my dad worked at a meat packing plant. He used to bring home boxes of tags that the plant would use to “pin” on the meat of the cows. My job was to stick these sharp pins through holes in the tags, so they could then put the tags on the meat. It literally took me about an hour to do a box of tags (approx. 1000 or so pins per box). Within that hour, I would prick my fingers at least 40-50 times per box – and these pins were sharp! I got paid $1 per box – talk about slave labor!

Will never leave home without: My wallet and my cell phone. Sorry, that’s two things, however I never leave home without EITHER of those two things!

Greatest Fear: Spiders and large insects – just don’t like ‘em!

Greatest Accomplishment: My two beautiful daughters (19 and 23)…I am very proud of the young women they have become. I am also very proud of the two other “children” I have raised - those being the two businesses that I built from scratch/nothing to something; having previously grown Computer Age Dentist, Inc. for 14+ years and now growing MegaMeeting.com/LiveLitigation for 12+ years has been pretty special.

Craziest Hobby: I love reading, especially non-fiction books about motivation, leadership, stocks, etc. Can’t think of anything crazy, although I do know of someone who collects pens!
