LOS ANGELES, CA, August 4, 2016 – LiveLitigation, the legal industry’s leading provider of local and remote litigation event software announced today the release of a new, redesigned router for their onsite realtime delivery software, LocalRealtime.

LocalRealtime is a universal product that provides court reporters with a method for wirelessly delivering their realtime transcript to attorneys and other legal professionals participating in onsite depositions, trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. LocalRealtime works off of two main components. First, the StenoDirectPlus Plugin, which creates a bridge between a court reporter’s CAT software and LiveLitigation’s realtime viewing software, and second, a wireless router.

LocalRealtime’s wireless router is the backbone of the product, as it contains custom firmware and proprietary realtime viewing software. Basically, when connected to a court reporter’s computer it creates a secure local area network that onsite litigation event attendees can wirelessly connect to from any PC, Mac, iPad, Android tablet, or Kindle Fire to view realtime transcript.

Effective August 1, 2016, LiveLitigation will be giving LocalRealtime a facelift with the release of a newly designed router. The new router will include all of the same features that has made LiveLitigation the industry’s go-to product for legal proceedings, like true wireless realtime, universal transcript delivery, and simultaneous internet access, but it will now be easier to setup, USB powered, and about the size of a post-it note.

When asked the reason LiveLitigation decided to replace what is currently being offered, Tawny Labrum, Marketing Director for LiveLitigation stated, “Our clients. We started selling LocalRealtime more than three years ago. Over that period of time we have asked for and received feedback from hundreds of court reporters. The majority of responses circled around the fact that they felt the router we were offering was too large, and the AC power adapter often got disconnected by accident. After doing research and looking for a replacement that would meet the needs of our clients, yet still be as reliable and sturdy as our current offering, we found the perfect replacement. We are excited to bring this router to the market. Not only will court reporters be able to power it up using the USB port on their computer, but the size has been reduced drastically. It is now small enough to fit in the palm of their hand!”
