What is your role at LiveLitigation, and why is it exciting to you?
I’m one of the friendly voices you’ll hear when you call Tech Support. I come from a background in Mechanical Engineering, so I love the challenge of figuring out how things work or, in most cases with tech support, why they DON’T work.

How long have you worked here?
This month will mark 3 years.

What do you like best about working at LiveLitigation?
We have some of the friendliest clients I’ve ever worked with. Also, I can’t lie… Working from home is pretty awesome.

What have you gained from working here?
I’ve definitely gained some much-needed people skills. I find myself talking to anyone and everyone these days.

What is your proudest moment at LiveLitigation?
I’m not entirely sure there’s one specific moment, rather than a series of little moments that I’m most proud of. But I must say, whenever we hear from a client that we’ve somehow “saved the day,” that makes my job so totally worth it!

Professional Background:

What did you do before LiveLitigation, and why did you choose to work here?
I worked as a computer aided drafter who designed and produced make-up displays for retail stores. It’s a job you never would think existed, but it was pretty cool going to the mall and seeing my designs in real life!

What was your first job?
Woah… going way back to when I was 14 years old and working in the concession stand at my local PAL (Police Athletic League) building!

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I’d probably be doing more drafting/designing or engineering.

What did you want to be when growing up?
I stuck to my guns, here. I’ve always wanted to be a mechanical engineer. Went to school and got my Mechanical engineering degree and had a few jobs that utilized that.

Fun/Personal:

How would you describe yourself in 10 keywords or fewer?
Outgoing, funny, inquisitive, musical, talented, crafty, and of course, totally awesome!

What are your three most overused words/phrases?
When I’m on a support call, I find myself saying “Perfect!” or “Excellent” or “Alright, let’s go ahead and do this”

What is the one thing you cannot resist?
This might be strange, but I’m VERY into woodworking… So when I go to Home Depot or Lowes, I cannot resist searching for unique pieces of wood. Told ya it was strange…

I use a PC, but I think I’m going to have to get a Mac sooner or later.
